Glaz LineScan with TimeFill

TimeFill uses an interleaved sensor read-out scheme. With an interleaved read-out scheme, the next integration cycle can start even before the previous data read-out is completed. With this scheme, very high temporal fill factors can be achieved, but cannot be used for robust multi-device synchronisation.

TimeFill sensor read-out scheme:

TimeFill does not use the camera's Sync port for synchronisation. This frees up the Sync port and it can be used as master trigger for external devices. TimeFill is recommended for single-camera applications where advanced syncrhonisation is not required.
